Supreme Brands Inc., a unit of UnitedHealth Group Inc., has filed a lawsuit against CNN Worldwide Inc. for “incitement to violence and hatred,” the network said Friday.

The lawsuit is the latest in a series of legal actions by the company against the news network in recent months, which has led to a $2 billion fine from the U.S. Justice Department.

CNN said in a statement Friday that it has a “zero tolerance” policy toward hate speech and will continue to take action to protect the rights of its employees and the community at large.
